VTCT Level 3 Reflexology (practitioner level)
Reflexology is a form of treatment based on the belief that the body is dependent upon it energy flows which can be improved through specific massage of the feet and hands. The main objective is to specify the methodology of the provision of reflexology treatment in a safe and effective manor. The need for a satisfactory consultation and assessment process is crucial to all therapies.
The course is practitioner level, delivered to the new VTCT standard. Taught one Sunday a month for 6 months to give students time to practice between sessions with the support of their tutor.
What will be covered in the course?
5 Mandatory units:
- Knowledge of Anatomy,
- Physiology and less Common Pathology,
- Provide Reflexology,
- Reflective Practice for Reflexology,
- Principals and Practice of Complementary Therapies, Health, Safety and Hygiene for Complementary Therapies.
One Sunday a month starting 4th Feb 2018 plus assessment, date will be arranged with the students on their last day of tuition.
How is the course assessed?
Continuous assessments on practical, theoretical range and oral questions, as well as assignments and portfolio building.
Important – No experience required
If you are not already registered with the VTCT please add £16. You will require 2 files and dividers. White tunic top, Black trousers, Black Full shoes. Hair must be tied back if below shoulder length, short nails no polish please.
