Completed A BTEC National Diploma and qualified as a level 3 beauty therapist in 2003 and began my career in a local salon, where I worked for over 2 years gaining experience and confidence. Since then I have opened my own successful beauty salon which has been running since 2005. During this time I have gained other qualifications in order to keep my skills up to date. These include a diploma in Aromatherapy, VTCT Diplomas in advanced nail techniques & Indian head massage, semi-permanent lashes & microdermabrasion.
In 2010 I gained my Cert Ed teaching and A1 assessing qualifications. I am very passionate about beauty and my decision to pursue teaching comes from my ambition and desire to pass on my knowledge and inspiration to others. Since completing my teaching qualification I have taught at Sylvia Hodge College of Health and Beauty, together with running my own salon.
